Bereavement Support That Continues Beyond a Funeral

Thumbnail Wlc Master Logo Colour

Losing someone you care about can be one of the most difficult experiences of life. It is normal to feel unprepared for the strength and range of emotions that follow a bereavement. In those early days especially, it’s not uncommon to wonder how you will manage, or what support is available once the funeral has taken place.

At Countryside Funerals, we believe our responsibility to the families we care for does not end on the day of the funeral. While arranging a service is an important part of saying goodbye, the days and weeks that follow can often be just as challenging – and sometimes even lonelier.

Support When You Need It, In Your Own Time

To help support families beyond the funeral, we work in partnership with When Life Changes to offer a free bereavement support programme, delivered privately to your inbox.

This programme has been designed to be easy to access and flexible to fit around you. There is no pressure to engage all at once, and no expectation about where you “should” be in your grief. The support is there for you to use at your own pace.

Regular Guidance from Dr Bill Webster

The programme consists of a series of 13 short videos, each lasting around 5-7 minutes, led by grief expert Dr Bill Webster. Drawing on both professional experience and his own personal story of loss, Dr Webster shares practical guidance, reassurance and thoughtful insights into the grieving process.

Many people find comfort in hearing from someone who understands that grief is not linear, that emotions can change from day to day, and that there is no single “right” way to grieve.

How the Programme Works

Once you complete the short form here, the first video along with subsequent weekly emails will be sent directly to you. You can choose when to start, pause if you need to, and unsubscribe at any time.

Your details will only be used to send you the bereavement support emails you have requested. We will never share your information with third parties. Full details can be found in our Privacy Policy.
